🐾🏃‍♀️🦃 TURKEY TROT FUN! 🦃🏃‍♂️🐾

Our wellness team kicked off Thanksgiving week with a Turkey Trot right here on campus! Residents laced up their sneakers and enjoyed either a 1-mile or 2-mile walk or run around our beautiful grounds — including our scenic 5 Stones Pond.

The weather was perfect, and the energy was inspiring. What a wonderful way to celebrate fitness, fellowship, and community. Thank you to all who participated!

Christmas creativity was in full swing today! Our residents had a wonderful time making festive Christmas shadow boxes — each one a unique masterpiece. They painted the boxes, added cheerful paper backgrounds, and decorated with miniature Christmas trees, wrapped presents, snowmen, snowflakes, and all things merry and bright. 🎁⛄️❄️

This morning, Quarryville hosted a special Veterans Day Breakfast to honor the brave men and women in our community who have served our country. Residents who are veterans enjoyed delicious, made-to-order omelets and other breakfast goodies — a small way to say “thank you” for their service and sacrifice. Residents will also enjoy a special Veterans' Day Service Program in the chapel today.

We are deeply grateful for the courage, faith, and dedication of all who have worn our nation’s uniform. Happy Veterans Day!
