It was an honor to welcome AHF President Michael Weinstein to our Richmond Hill office. He spoke to — and heard from — our staff, sharing a vision for the evolution of the community-based care that both of our organizations have provided for 40 years.

We held our first Farmers Market on Saturday at our Richmond Hill location. More than 360 members of our community came to gather fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and eggs which will in turn feed hundreds of families in Queens.

Participants who came out to the event could also get free HIV testing and connection to other ACQC services. A face painting station for kids was busy all day. And the Out of the Closet Thrift Store was bursting with shoppers!

A great reminder that ACQC + AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Richmond Hill is a one-stop site for health and wellness.

ACQC is getting ready to host the first AHF Food for Health Farmer’s Market in Queens! Fresh fruits and vegetables from local growers plus so much more - and it’s FREE and OPEN TO EVERYONE. The first Farmer’s Market will be Saturday, April 11 from 10am-1pm at our location in Richmond Hill, 91-30 Van Wyck Expressway. We’ll have fresh food, pantry staples, the Out of The Closet Thrift store, free HIV & STI testing, plus community information, entertainment and more.
