If you’re drawn to Tarot, esoteric and occult studies, modern spirituality, energy work or simply curious about cultivating your own spiritual practice, this space was created for you.

What began as a small, personal practice grew into a basement space for community, and has now evolved into a dedicated storefront. A journey shaped by intention, perseverance, and purpose.

Lucero Astral is the first Mexican-American–owned metaphysical space in Queens, NY, created to share knowledge, tools, and intentional practice.

A metaphysical store is not tied to one religion, culture or tradition. It exists to support personal growth, learning, and spiritual development, offering resources such as Tarot, books, ritual tools, crystals, energy work, apothecary and workshops. While botanicas and other spiritual stores often serve specific cultural or religious traditions, this space is a curated and inclusive environment for reflection, education, and modern spiritual practice-allowing individuals to engage with spirituality in a way that feels authentic to them.

Opening these doors is a milestone I hold with deep pride- made even more meaningful by the love and support of the Woodhaven community.

Spirituality helped me find myself. Now, this space exists to share that knowledge with others.

Hey guys! I’m looking to hire someone to stand by me as my Shop Assistant! I’ll be training you personally every step of the way. I’m looking for someone who can help manage the retail space while I continue to execute other projects for the shop. This is a great opportunity for growth as the business continues to expand.

Lucero Astral is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to support the daily administration and management of my retail space.

The ideal candidate would be someone experienced with or looking to grow in:

-Office and administrative work
-Excel spreadsheets
-Inventory tracking and counts
-Daily creative content and social media support

This role requires someone who is:
-Initiative, responsible and dependable
-Creative and proactive
-Organized and detail-oriented
-Capable of running the shop confidently in my absence

Basic knowledge of spirituality and metaphysical topics is a plus, but not required- I’m happy to train the right person who’s willing to learn.

Starting pay: $17/hour, with the potential for an immediate raise based on performance and productivity.

This position is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and grow alongside a developing business.

Availability: Weekly (afternoons) part-time + weekends required
Languages: Bilingual (English and Spanish) but not required.

📣✨ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ✨📣

We did it. Truly. From the ground up.
Lucero Astral is officially opening its very own storefront 🥳💛🥳

Back in 2020, I opened my first physical shop in New Jersey. Six months later, it closed. What some saw as failure, I recognized as divine redirection. The timing was wrong and I made the bravest choice of my life: I chose motherhood before entrepreneurship. That season taught me patience, humility, resilience, and trust. I didn’t lose, I learned.

Back then, my vision wasn’t fully formed. Something always felt slightly off. I was moving, but without full clarity, without direction, without purpose. Today, everything is different. The vision is sharp. The purpose is clear. And for the first time, I truly know who I am and what I’m building.

I decided to give it another try, but this time from the basement of my home in NY. The journey has been a true roller coaster- learning how to be a single mother, a businesswoman, a caretaker of my home, working a part time job and at times, learning how to care for myself- all at the same time. It’s been filled with highs and lows, sleepless nights, heavy decisions, and moments when I truly wanted to call it quits. Then, my mother passed away unexpectedly- marking the hardest and loneliest chapter of my life. My biggest emotional support was gone. I ran out of funds. I ran out of options. I was preparing to close the doors… and then- life answered. Support arrived from the least expected. Doors opened suddenly. Strength returned. And somehow… I kept going.

And now, here we are, 3 years later - preparing for our official grand opening in Queens, NY! 🥳🙌🏽

To everyone who has supported me from day one… To every soul who left a review, made a purchase, shared a post, sent a prayer, or believed in me when things looked uncertain- this is because of you 💗

After 3 years of operating from my basement, I am beyond proud to announce that Lucero Astral is opening its storefront in Woodhaven, Queens. And this time… it feels right. It feels aligned. It feels real. And yessss! it feels fu***ng incredible! 🙌🏽

There were moments I truly believed making it in New York was nearly impossible. This is my living proof that when your heart is in the right place, your intentions are pure, nothing is impossible. As Paulo Coelho said:

It’s deeply grounding, shadow-clearing, and perfect for anyone ready to stop shrinking and start rising.

🖤🌿 BLACK COHOSH ROOT RITUAL

“Rooted in Power, Sealed in Protection”

Use this when:
You feel spiritually drained, crossed, emotionally entangled, or need to cut energetic cords with strength and finality.

You’ll Need:
✨A small amount of Black Cohosh Root
✨1 black candle
✨1 small bowl of salt
✨Small piece of paper
✨A fire-safe dish

🕯️The Ritual:
1. Write on the paper what you are cutting away (a person, situation, energy, cycle, fear).
2. Place the root on top of the paper- this symbolizes your power standing over what you release.
3. Draw a small salt circle around both.
4. Light the candle and say:

By root and by flame,
What drains me is cut away.
What walls I set are sealed and strong.
My power returns. My spirit stands.

5. Burn the paper safely (do NOT burn the root).
6. Hold the Black Cohosh root in your dominant hand for 30 seconds, then place it:
By your front door (protection) or Under your bed (boundary while you sleep) or On your altar (power anchoring)

🔥 When to Do It:
-Waning Moon (best for release & cord-cutting)
-Saturdays (Saturn energy = boundaries & protection)
