BREAKING: President Trump has issued an Executive Order to move cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act.
Although cannabis should not be in any schedule, just as alcohol is not, moving cannabis to Schedule III is a major breakthrough. For the first time in almost a century, federal law will acknowledge that cannabis has medical value and is less dangerous than opiates — a reality patients have known for millennia.
