Our 99th Street PACE Center in Manhattan has been getting into the holiday spirit!✨

🎁Participants enjoyed making homemade cards and wreaths and playing a fun pass-around-the gift game with some great surprises up for grabs! Most importantly, everyone shared a festive, joyful time together. ❄️

Coquito, which means 'little coconut' is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. The drink was inspired by British and American eggnogs, but the Spanish made their own version of eggnog and combined it with coconut milk, creating coquito. 🍹🥥

Our participants had a great time making coquito — it’s an annual event enjoyed by everyone at the PACE Center!🎄

This simple task can stop the spread of germs and keep everyone healthier this winter. It’s a small gift to yourself and the people you care about.

Remember to wash your hands:
✅Before eating or preparing food

✅After sneezing, coughing or blowing your nose
✅After using the restroom
✅After touching frequently used surfaces like doorknobs
✅Before and after being in public places
