Last Saturday (Feb 28, 2026), we were grateful to host Iftar at Islamic Center of Jackson Heights- Masjid Abu Huraira during the holy month of Ramadan.

Sharing a meal after sunset with community members was a beautiful reminder of the importance of connection, compassion, and service.

Yesterday, Rasai Research had the privilege of hosting a Heart Health Talk at Selfhelp Community Services, Inc. Latimer Gardens OAC, engaging directly with members of the senior community on one of today’s most urgent health challenges.

Heart disease remains a leading cause of death among older adults, making education, early detection, and access to emerging treatment options more important than ever. During the session, we discussed risk awareness, diagnostic approaches, and current treatment strategies, while also sharing how ongoing clinical research is helping advance new therapies aimed at improving long-term cardiovascular outcomes.

Community partnerships like this reinforce the vital connection between research, healthcare education, and real-world patient impact. We are grateful for the opportunity to support awareness while helping bring scientific innovation closer to the communities who need it most.
