Many modern smoke detectors now have 10 year batteries. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t ones out there that need battery changes. Please check yours and change them if needed. Also check your carbon monoxide detectors while you’re at it. Here in the northeast we’re coming into heating season where it’s more prevalent.

Our Story

Strategic Emergency Training and Consulting was started up to spin off the Training Division of Event Medical Services of New York. Started a year earlier, it rapidly grew and became very successful.

This was in part due to the focus and drive of the owners as well as the dedicated instructors, for without them, we could not have made it this far.

We believe that everyone can make a difference. Every student we train receives valuable skills and knowledge that could ultimately save a life.

We also see a real need to expand beyond training and provide consulting services to EMS agencies. Some of these services include Safety (OSHA), HIPAA Compliance(including Security Risk Assessments), Operational and Financial Management, Revenue Recovery, Recruitment and Retention, and Staffing.
