It was an honor to partner with our colleagues at Queensbury Union Free School District and Liza with Warren County, New York Workforce Development yesterday to support the Queensbury Middle School's Girls Resiliency In Trades (GRIT) Program. Michael Jarvis, Business Manager of UA Local 773, talked with the class about the importance of their study and presented a surprise donation of tools to the class, in partnership with our friends at Milwaukee Tool. We're grateful to have such strong educators and community leaders in our region who understand the value and need for more tradespeople to help build and sustain our communities. These young ladies in GRIT are an inspiration. The future is bright!

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families forever changed. We also remember the resilience and unity that carried our nation forward in the days that followed.
On this solemn anniversary, we stand together in reflection and gratitude - committed to never forgetting the sacrifices made and the strength we found in one another.

We will never forget.
