A very important part of being a Counselor is professional development and training. Last week, owner/therapist Mark Vander Ley attended the American Association of Christian Counselors conference in Nashville, Tennessee. He joined 7,000 Christian Counselors in learning the best ways to help clients achieve their mental health goals.

Mark also had the opportunity to present alongside 2 of his colleagues from Colorado Christian University. Together, Mark, Brian, and Casey had over 400 participants in their presentation on integrating the grand story of the Bible with attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to help couples deepen relational intimacy.
