Having shepherded her own parents through aging and end-of-life challenges, Lisa was keen to help other families during periods of significant transition. Clients who meet Lisa take immediate comfort from her steadiness and deep understanding of what they are going through.

Lisa honed her relational and project management skills during her previous careers in education and communications. She has a natural eye for detail and a gift for anticipating problems before they become crises. But what clients most appreciate about Lisa is how her support made them *feel*. Every family Lisa has guided through a move has said the same thing once the dust settled: "There's no way we could have done this without her." Thank you, Lisa! 🧡

The kiddos from Child of God Daycare spent the week making colorful cards and handwritten thank-you notes to include in our Veterans Day gift bags. They took their job seriously, lots of laughter, lots of markers, and maybe a few snack breaks in between. 😉

Best of Care Inc. was happy to bring some holiday cheer to dinner service a few weeks ago at Freestyle Living 🎄🥧 🕎

With pies from Marion’s, a locally made Cape Cod favorite, festive goodies, holiday music, and lots of good conversation around the tables, it was a meaningful way to celebrate the season with residents.

Moments like these reflect what we value most- presence, connection, and community.

🗣️ FREE RESPITE CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH MEMORY CHANGES IN MASSACHUSETTS AND CONNECTICUT

We are excited to announce that Best of Care, Inc. has been selected to participate as a respite care provider in the GUIDE Program (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience), a national initiative from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The program was developed to offer extra support to individuals living with memory changes and those who care for them.

Through this program, eligible participants can receive:


—Up to $2,563 per year in fully covered respite care provided by Best of Care
—Care coordination and caregiver support through a healthcare organization chosen by CMS to provide GUIDE services
—24/7 access to support teams for added peace of mind

All services are funded entirely by Medicare, with no cost to participants.

If you work with clients or families who could benefit, we’d be happy to provide information you can share or talk through how the process works.

This program is another way to make care at home more sustainable, while ensuring that clients and their caregivers have access to the right kind of support when they need it most.
