Quincy Valley Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Payer Enrollment Specialist to join our Business Office team. This role is key to ensuring our providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with insurance payers so patient care and reimbursement run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing provider credentialing and payer enrollment (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans)
Gathering and maintaining provider documentation
Tracking applications and following up with payers
Communicating with providers, insurance companies, and internal teams

What we’re looking for:
Experience with credentialing and payer enrollment (healthcare preferred)
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and stay on top of details

Position details:
Part-time (15–20 hours/week)
Competitive pay $22.12–$29.83 DOE
Retirement 403(b) plan

What you’ll do:
✔ Prepare, review, and process patient billing
✔ Ensure accurate and timely claims submission and payment posting
✔ Work closely with insurance processes and patient accounts

What we’re looking for:
• Experience or education in medical billing
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organization

Position Details:
🕒 Full Time — 40 hours/week

As I reflect back on 2025, this story appeared in my "memories". It is worth re-reading. It's not about our new hospital, and it isn't just a news article. This story is a reminder of all that is special about our community. Six years ago we wrapped our arms around patients we would likely never see again and showed them what QVMC and our small town are made of: people who give generously and care deeply. May this new year bring us the joy of showing true compassion and kindness to those around us.❤️
