Today we celebrate the incredible small businesses that help our community thrive. We’re grateful for the creativity, hard work, and heart they bring to the area and we’re proud to support them here at Curtis Creek Senior living. We’re especially excited to feature local artist Renee Donley, who will be joining us on December 3 at 1:00 PM. Which happens to be the same day as our Christmas tree lighting celebration! She will be showcasing her beautiful artwork and even raffling off one of her pieces while she is here.

Native American Heritage Day
Today we celebrate Native American Heritage Day by taking time to learn, listen, and appreciate the rich cultural contributions of Indigenous peoples. As part of our day, we watched an informational video featuring the artwork of Reuben Ironhorse-Kent, whose pieces highlight tradition, identity, and the beauty of storytelling through art. In the spirit of the season, we are also making a heartfelt commitment to continue learning about the diverse world we share and to work toward becoming more inclusive every day. Understanding and honoring different cultures is an important step in building a community where everyone feels valued.
