New England’s Premier Rehabilitation Center with a special focus on providing skilled and culturally sensitive care to patients transitioning from hospitalization back to their communities. In our new state-of-the-art facilities, South Cove Manor features private and enhanced semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, walking paths, gracious living areas, and other amenities. Providing the highest quality of care and service through our outstanding DPH Survey history. Provides 24 hour short-term and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from surgery, illness, and other medical/surgical conditions with the goal of helping each person return home. Specialized in providing an Eastern and Western Menu including specialty diets creatively prepared in our state-of-the-art kitchens by our professionally trained chefs. An exceptional nursing department with over 130 staff including
RN’s, LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants including 90 resident support staff. Our 230 staff speak over nine languages and provide high quality, customer-service driven, resident-centered nursing and skilled rehabilitation care. Skilled Therapy Services:

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists work to keep you moving safely and more independently. Services Include:
Therapeutic exercises for strength, flexibility, and range of motion
Fall prevention and recovery
Functional mobility including gait, balance and wheelchair propulsion
Energy conservation training
Pain and edema management
Assistive devices to increase independence and function
Balance retraining
Cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation
Full complement of OT and PT modality treatment including diathermy, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation

Speech Therapy

Occupational Therapy
