We are so proud of Dr. Doug! He consistently represents Family Medicine with excellence—not just for our community, but for all of Kansas. Thank you for your dedication and for being a true advocate for patients and healthcare across the state!
Earlier this month, KAFP leaders proudly represented Kansas at the American Academy of Family Physicians’ Congress of Delegates (COD) — the Academy’s policy-making body that sets direction for family medicine nationwide. During the meeting, delegates from across the country debated and voted on resolutions, received updates from AAFP’s Board of Directors and commissions, and engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of family medicine.
Attending on behalf of Kansas were Drs. Doug Gruenbacher, Keith Ratzlaff, Chad Johanning, Lynn Fisher, Jeremy Presley and KAFP CEO Tarah Remington Brown.
Thank you to these members for taking time away from their families, practices, and patients to serve as our collective voice on the national stage. Their participation ensures that Kansas’ priorities remain part of the national conversation shaping the future of our specialty.
