We were hoping to wait on making this announcement, not wanting to take any of the spotlight off Lynn. However, some have questioned whether we are staying open. So, let’s set the record straight. We are not closing. We have not sold. Lynn is still our owner. As many of you know Lynn was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2024. She has been on medical leave since her diagnosis. She is now CANCER FREE! However, she now has Addison’s Disease as a result of her chemo/immunotherapy and is still learning to manage her new norm. Over the last year and a half, we have had an acting administrator fill her role. Julie Godwin will now be our Administrator in an official capacity. Julie is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration and has been the Assistant Administrator at Hospice Care Group for the last 21 years. Julie and her husband Corey are lifelong residents of Clarke County and have two children, Abby and Hayden Godwin.

I love that we are a small locally owned company. Our staff are your neighbors living right here, giving us quick response times and personalized care. I look forward to continuing what Lynn started and hope to do it with the same care and compassion.”
