A family operation, Dan Strouf opened the funeral home, was succeeded in operation by Oscar Sheffield for many years as Strouf-Sheffield. 90 years later with the retirement of current owner and director Robert G. Guddie II, passed down from Michael D. Meier.l after many years working together. Raymond Trevino Delgado, Jr., entered his eternal home on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin. Raymond was born January 13, 1951 in Taylor, Texas, the son of Raymond and Lydia (NEE: Trevino) Delgado, Sr. Raymond was raised by his grandparents Juanita and Jose Trevino after the passing of his mother at a young age. On October 29, 1984 he married the love of his life, Irene Rodriguez. Raymond was the owner of “Carpet Installations by Raymond” for 57 years, only being 16 years old when he discovered his passion for flooring and eventually passing the business over to his sons. He was also known as Wimpy The Clown, entertaining his friends at events and parades by performing stunts. Raymond was a jack of all Trades, taking on various jobs including videography, but always willing to give a helping hand for anyone in need. He really enjoyed repairing cars and barbecuing brisket. He loved his family and adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a God-Fearing man and loved preaching the Good News and was an avid member of Stand On His Word Ministry. He had a passion for traveling and always looked forward to enjoying Louie Mueller’s Barbecue in Taylor. Raymond had five children from his previous marriage with Rosalie Vargas and took in two children from his current wife Irene Rodriguez. Together they were blessed with two more children, becoming a blended family of nine. He had many good friends and acquaintances, many from his flooring business and continued to spread the word of the Lord to whomever he was given the opportunity. He suffered with his health since 2007, but the Lord was gracious to spare him to continue spreading His word. He loved the homeless and provided food, shelter and guidance taking many people under his wing and his profession of flooring and carpentry. Raymond will be greatly missed by his wife Irene, his children Margot (Raymond) Vasguez, Rene Delgado, Michael (Sabrina) Delgado, Monica Delgado, Kris (Ana) Delgado, Regina (Bruce) Rachal, Leon (Vanessa) Reyes, Lydia Delgado and Ernest Delgado. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Jannyce (Azaiah), Vincent, Adalina (Alex), Eric (Priscilla), Vanessa (Zach), Ashtin (Nelson), Emilio (Gabriella), Joseph, Breanna (Noah), Laura, Natalia (Edwin), Hector IV, Stephan, Bria, Fernando (Aneliz), Elliott, Nathan, Angelo, Dallas, Elijah, Raymond, Luciano, Ernesto, Monica, Olivia, Leilani, Viviana, Xitlali and Frankie. Also missing Raymond will be his great-grandchildren, Fabian, Rosalie, Audi, Aubri, Emerald, Erilyn, Jaidyn, Jordynn, Joesiah, Jolene, Jade, Nylah, Elias, Sebastian, Xolaya, Zavier, Camila, Sebastian, Catalina and Samiyah along with his brothers and sisters, Debra Valdez, Guadalupe Valdez, Nino Delgado, David Delgado, Rene Delgado. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Delgado Sr. and his mother Lydia Trevino (Alberto) Hernandez, grandparents Jose and Juanita Trevino, his sister Lidia “Kinin” Stewart, brothers Gilbert Olivo, Joe Delgado, Raymond “Flaco” Delgado Jr., grandchildren Jared, Armani, and Baby Angel, and his step-daughter Ramona Rodriguez by his current marriage with Irene. Funeral Services for Raymond will be held in Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street in Racine, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive guests in the Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Burial for Raymond will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery on Highway 32. Maria Louise Moreno, 99, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026. Maria was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 8, 1926, the daughter of Geraldo and Maria Rodriguez. On December 18, 1948 she married Pablo R. Moreno in Racine. Maria loved to sing, and sang for the Dorsey Band, recorded a record called “Careless”. She also loved attending baseball games. Maria will be deeply missed by her daughter Linda, grandchildren Koi (Melissa) Lathrop, Marcus (Tauwna) Moreno and Michelle Moreno, along with several great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother Peter Rodriguez and brother-in-law Juan Moreno along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandchildren Paul and Marie. Services and entombment for Maria were held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Highway 32 with Rev. Tim Samotsjski officiating.

Maurice enjoyed playing chess and video games and hanging out with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his mother Juanita Petersen and his father Maurice (Jackie) Corrie, his sister Christina Corrie and brother Aaron Petersen. Pamela Lynn Corrie, 80, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Elizabeth Gardens Complex. Pamela was born in Racine on May 26, 1945, the daughter of Edward and Hattie Wallis. Pamela worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and when she wasn’t working she loved cooking, enjoying good food, shopping and travelling. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and always loved to laugh. Pamela will be greatly missed by her children Maurice (Jackie) Corrie, Charles (Yolanda) Corrie and Jose (Dreams) Ramirez and her grandchildren, Sabrina, Amanda, Kristina, Areania, Tyler, Faith, Sol, Rain, William, Wallace, Jacob and Gracie along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Estella Coronado Hernandez, 80, passed to her eternal home on Sunday, March 15, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Estella was born September 16, 1945 in Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Petra (NEE: Zamora) Coronado. In 1972 Estella married Santiago G. Hernandez in Racine. Estella enjoyed gardening, crafting and watching soap operas. While Santiago was living, the two of them loved to go dancing. Estella’s favorite pastime was spending time with her family and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Estella will be deeply missed by her children Juanta (Ramiro) Rodriguez, Franscisco Hernandez, Juan (Stephanie) Hernandez, Irma (Victor) Hernandez-Lara, Jose Hernandez and Alejandro Hernandez. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Lorena (Andrew) Rivera, Erika Rodriguez, Santiago Hernandez, Elena Hernandez, Gabriela (Elias) Hernandez, Graciela Hernandez, Daniel (Anjel) Hernandez, Juan Antonio (Monica) Hernandez, Kassandra (Julian) Cruz and Selena Hernandez; her great-grandchildren Ameena, Julian, Alayah, Andrew, Ziggy, Oliver, Anthony, Abel, Eliana, Angel, Juno and Minerva. Amelia Tovar, 64, went with the Lord on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Racine. Amelia was born in San Miguel, De Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico on March 15, 1961 to Edmundo Tovar and Maria Remedios Gomez. On March 23, 1985 she married her husband Juan Garcia in Mexico. Amelia was a devoted woman of God and was active with her church. She enjoyed gardening, attending garage sales, cooking and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Amelia will be deeply missed by her husband Juan, son Emmanuel Garcia Tovar (his wife Virginia) and her daughter Rosemari Garcia Tovar. She will be missed by her lovely grandchildren Jacob, Keven and Nikky Garcia, along with her father Edmundo Tovar; her sisters Rosalina, Irene, Irma, Olivia, Patricia; brothers Francisco, Edmundo Geraldo and Adrian. Jesse Hall Morales, Sr., 84, passed away at home peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026 surrounded by loving family. Jesse was born August 6, 1941 in Caseville, Michigan, the son of Rosalio and Luisa (NEE: Sanchez) Morales. On January 8, 1963 Jesse married the love of his life Sofia Avila in Waukegan, Illinois. Jesse worked at J.I. Case as a tool distributor for 27 years before retiring, though he continued working other part time jobs for several years. He was a member of UAW Local 180. Jesse was a devoted family man who enjoyed listening to Tejano music, tinkering in the garage, hanging out with his breakfast buddies at McDonald’s, buying lottery tickets hoping to strike it rich and taking care of hi grandkids. He also enjoyed spending time gardening, traveling, hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, his kind smile, his jokes and how he would help anyone who needed it (unless you needed help to find something…there it isn’t). Jesse will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Sofia, his children Linda (Carlos) Nava, Rita (Mike) Rodriguez, Jesse Morales, Jr., Christina (Ron Kropidlowski) Morales, Teresa (Jesse) Sosa and Nicky Morales. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Kathy Rodriguez, Leticia Rodriguez, Vanessa Rodriguez, Brianna Rodriguez, Tara Mitchell, Grant Evans, III, Joseph Evans, Alejandro (Yaneli) Morales and Antonia Sosa, Elijah Sosa, Jesse John Sosa, Evangeline Sosa, twenty-six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a brother Natividad, sisters Jane Serra, Maria Morales, Francisca Morales, special fur baby Chica the protector along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Terry Lee Ansel, 71, entered his eternal home on Sunday, March 1, 2026 with his family present. Terry was born December 14, 1954 in Reamstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Warren and Elizabeth (NEE: Gerhart) Ansel. On February 25, 1995 he married Margaret Jaskot in Lancaster, PA. In 2017, Terry retired from Case New Holland where he worked as a machinist. Terry was an outdoors enthusiast who loved gardening, hiking and birdwatching. He was also a published genealogist and talented artist who carved and painted realistic wooden ducks. Terry will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret (Maggie), his son Daniel and daughter Katherine (Francis) Grey, along with his brothers and sisters Thomas (Nina) Ansel, Diane Fichthorn, Ted (Nancy) Ansel and Joanne MacMurray, sister-in-law Linda Ansel, his eleven nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy Ansel. A Memorial service will be held in Terry’s hometown of Reamstown, Pennsylvania.

Evelia Maldonado, 71, entered her eternal home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at St. Mary’s Ascension-Columbia Hospital. Evelia was born August 5, 1954 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Victor and Evelia E. (Nee: Paredes) Nava. In 1975 Evelia married J. Francisco Maldonado in Waukegan, IL. Evelia was a Certified Nursing Assistant, giving her loving care to her patients. She enjoyed cooking for her family and listening to music, however, after retiring she truly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Evelia will be deeply missed by her husband J. Francisco, her three children Maria (Jose) Munoz, Rosario Maldonado and Francisco Maldonado, Jr., eight grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. She will also be deeply missed by her sisters Linda (Jose) Cantu, Noreen Maldonado and Norma Nava and her brothers Victor Nava, Carlos (Linda) Nava, Raymond (Mary) Nava and Santos (Emilia) Nava. Brenda Jean Davis (née George), originally Brenda Jean George, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born on May 30, 1953, in the South Bronx of New York, Brenda was the beloved daughter of Roger and Thelma (Nee: Lipson) Cobb. From the very beginning, she carried a strong spirit, a deep passion for life, and a presence that filled every room she entered. Brenda was a woman of heart, resilience, and unmistakable personality — someone you didn’t forget once you met her. Her family will forever remember her as a passionate, loving, and remarkable woman whose strength and warmth shaped generations. She loved fiercely, laughed deeply, and left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her absence will be felt profoundly, but her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched. Brenda is survived by her three children: George Lopez (Janice Grassel), Christopher Mayo, and Ariana Towns (Theodore Towns). She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Jamilette Santos, Kneyana Simmons, Jazmine Mayo, Izabella Mayo, Alijah Simmons, Koron Campbell, and Addisyn Mayo; and a devoted great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren: Mailani, Kilianna, Azariah, Ariyah, and Ahvyana. She is also survived by her siblings: Bill George (Kathy), Laura Crawford, Stacy George (Scott Nichols), and Michael Lipson (Akiko); her son-in-law Randall Wright; and many cherished nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends — especially her dear and longtime best friend, Nicole Stolz. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Thelma Cobb; her husbands, Jose and Greg; her beloved daughter, Amanda Garcia; and her niece, Frances George. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU team at Aurora Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant and to the compassionate staff at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis in Milwaukee for their care and kindness. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date, with details to be shared by the family.
