🇺🇸 Veterans Day — Free Kringle & Haircuts for Vets! 🇺🇸

This Tuesday , Nov. 11th, we’re teaming up with O&H Danish Bakery, Blacktop Barbershop, and The Prairie School in Racine County to do something special for our veterans.

From 8 AM to 5 PM at O&H on Washington Ave (5910 Washington Ave, Mt. Pleasant), the first 150 veterans who stop in will get a free Kringle as a small thank-you for your service.

And from 9 AM to noon, Mitch from Blacktop Barbershop will be there in his mobile shop giving free haircuts to vets. The Prairie School students also made some awesome handmade thank-you cards for every veteran who comes through.

If you know a local vet, tag them and help spread the word. It’s a simple way to show some love and appreciation this Veterans Day.

We love the costumes and the candy, but we also want to keep your smile bright. Here are quick tips to enjoy treats without harming your teeth:

Moderation matters: savor a few pieces after meals, not all day. Constant nibbling keeps sugar on teeth longer. 🍬

Sticky candies are sneaky: caramel, gummies, and taffy cling to enamel and can lead to cavities. If you indulge, rinse with water and brush thoroughly after about 30 minutes. 🍭🕒🪥

Smart choices: chocolate often washes away more easily than chewy candies. Opt for smaller portions and pair treats with a meal when possible. 🍫

Keep up your oral hygiene: brush for 2 minutes, twice a day, and floss daily. If you can’t brush right away, rinse with water or chew sugar-free gum to boost saliva. 🪥💧

Fluoride update: We now offer fluoride treatments (new formula - NOT sticky!) to help strengthen your enamel and fight decay. Ask about adding a quick fluoride treatment at your next visit. ✨🦷💧
