Chiropractic Care Center of Racine Dr.Okland recieved his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he gr He is proficient in manual and extremity adjustments.

Dr.Okland has an advanced proficiency rating in a low-force adjusting technique which utilizes a hand-held instrument. Chiropractic is the science of art of locating and correcting spinal nerve interference. When spinal bones are misaligned, it causes irritation or pressure on the nerves. Chiropracors call this "Vertebral Subluxation". Since nerves ultimately control the function of every muscle, organ, and gland of the body chiropractors have found that this nerve interference is the cause of many of the problems that we experience. By removing nerve interferences the body is able to function properly again and handle the stressors of life more effectively. Chiropractic is non-evasive, natural health care, meaning there are no drugs or surgery involved.

I felt I needed to spread the word. Since January my left foot felt like it would slip. So that made walking very difficult and scary. For no apparent reason I was not on ice and should not feel this way. I thought I must be out of alignment from walking so goofy. So while waiting for another doctors appointment I went to the chiropractor, It did take time but now major improvement. I am just so happy and excited with the progress so far. I finally am walking without a walking stick. Had to share my experience hoping it will help someone else.-Barbara Taggart
