At the end of February, we celebrated Friends and with a “Share the Love” theme, so of course the evening’s destination was the “City of Love" in Paris, France! 🇫🇷 💗

Our Dining Services team created a delicious French-inspired meal featuring Coq au vin and mushroom risotto, while our Resident Program team set the atmosphere for dinner.

In what’s becoming a new tradition at , our associates performed yet another skit written and directed by Assisted Living resident, Sarah. Everyone then enjoyed music by Wilson & Friends. 🎭🍷

A big thank you to New River Community College for hosting a meaningful Black History Month Ceremony! 💚

We enjoyed listening to the panel discussion led by AJ Robinson about the "Standing Tall and Proud" mural in Tazewell, VA. It was also great experiencing a wonderful musical performance by the Glorylanders.🎶

From Valentine goodie bags for our Veterans delivered by VFW Auxiliary - Post 776, to hand-drawn cards and flowers given to our ladies by the boys and families of the USA Prime - NRV, to even more gifts and time spent visiting with the members of Delta Sigma Pi - Omicron Pi Chapter.

Our residents and associates so appreciate the wonderful ways they show up for our ! 💌 🛍️

On Presidents Day, we enjoyed a special historical presentation thanks to April Martin, Educational Director at Wilderness Road Regional Museum. 👏 📖

April came with her super cute Shih Tzu puppy, Peak, to share more about US Presidents and their pets. 🐶🐈

Not only was her presentation educational and entertaining, but Peak’s cute face and friendly personality brought lots of joy for everyone.

At first, it feels simple. You schedule a doctor's appointment. You pick up prescriptions. These small acts feel natural and loving... but over time, those small favors begin to multiply.

is always looking forward to a visit from the Sunny Side with James Farley & friends! 👏 🎶

James brings along friends and family of all ages to play guitar, fiddle, mandolin and more to beautiful old Southern gospel and traditional Appalachian music, including some of our residents’ favorites.

One resident shared that she remembered her mother singing many of those same old-time hymns to her as a very young child, which was a touching tribute to the power of music across generations.

Our Signature Programs are always making an impact on our residents and this time we're spotlighting Dale as he participates in our Bucket List theme for 2026!🌟

Dale worked as an engineer on several important projects that influenced American history, including helping to put three men on the moon and bring them home safely again!

It’s been one of his Bucket List goals to put together models of the aircraft and other engineering projects he worked on throughout his career. 🚀 🛠️

This afternoon Dale’s family came to join us as he showcased a collection of a few models that he built in retirement. We were thrilled to hear his stories about working on each of those different projects.

Thank you Dale for your contributions to our nation’s advancement in science and technology.

Winter Olympics fun in motion! 🏅❄️

Our amazing EmpowerMe Wellness Therapy team led a special Winter Olympic–themed exercise class as part of our February Signature program theme.

Residents stayed active with fun stretches inspired by downhill skiing, curling, speed skating, and more. ⛷️🥌⛸️

What a fun and energizing way to celebrate movement, laughter, and community!
