opened for business on September 10, 1984. Originally staffed with one pharmacist and a technician, the pharmacy operations steadily grew in popularity and professional activity. On May 22, 2000 operations were moved from Campus Avenue to Harris Avenue and Barbee Pharmacy began the new century with a new look. Increases in staffing and hours of operation have kept up with consumer demands on the new store. The prescription department continues to be the main engine of the business. With a modern mix of health and beauty aids, OTC merchandise and first aid products, the inventory tries to satisfy all consumer expectations. At Barbee Pharmacy, the average prescription fill time is about 10 minutes. Call ahead, and we'll have it to you in less than five. Transferring your prescription is easier than you think. Simply bring us your new prescription or an empty prescription bottle with your number of refills on it. We'll even call another pharmacy and have your prescriptions transferred for you! We offer FOUR easy ways to refill your prescription:

#1 Bring your refill in personally. We'd love to see you.

#2 Telephone in your refill with our automated system. Simply dial
919-875-6111 and follow the instructions.

#3 Use our convenient drop off box outside the pharmacy and is checked daily.

#4 Use our online refill portal 24 hours a day. You can find it on our website.
