“I show up here each day because I know I’m going to make a difference in someone’s life.”

Here at MRH-Hoke, Heather McColl, R.N., cares for patients on what are often some of the hardest days of their lives. In those moments, Heather is intentional about being a steady presence, bringing a sense of calm and offering kindness to help ease the weight of stressful experiences for both patients and their families.

That same compassion extends to her coworkers. Heather is quick to offer support to those around her, and that support is provided in return. She credits that culture of teamwork to the people who surround her - from leaders who have her back to teammates who have each other's backs.

Heather is a wonderful example of how at FirstHealth, caring is personal.
