Today another employee said goodbye to RMC and hello to retirement. Donna Adkins, who was a Registration Specialist at Alderson Medical Center clocked out for the last time yesterday. Today we celebrated her retirement with her family and staff at RMC. Donna was here almost 7 years, but spent nearly 30 years in the medical field. One of the gifts she was given said “Never Underestimate the Difference you made and the lives you touched”. This was so true of Donna. She loved the patients and the people of Alderson. We wish Donna the best in her retirement for many years to come!

Over the next few weeks RMC and its satellite locations will be conducting a canned food/boxed food donation drive to help restock and supplement the food pantries in the area. With the government shut down and the cancellation of the SNAP benefits, there will be a lot more need this year at the local food banks. If you have an appointment at the clinic in the upcoming weeks and are able to contribute to the drive, it would be greatly appreciated.

These ladies work hard all day long, sometimes standing up for nearly 8-10 hours a day. LPN CHRONIC CARE MANAGER:

Rainelle Medical Center is looking for a Chronic Care Management LPN to work full-time at the main clinic in Rainelle. Duties:

The LPN Care Manager supports care coordination activities and engages directly with patients to ensure continuity of care, improved health outcomes, and closure of care gaps. Under RN supervision, the LPN helps implement care plans, conducts follow-up outreach, and performs screenings such as RetinaVue and FibroScan. The LPN works with a multidisciplinary team to address barriers to care, coordinate appointments, and support quality-based initiatives.
