Vaginal steaming isn’t a miracle cure.
It was never meant to be.
In Traditional medicine, herbal fumigation and steam therapies have long been used as adjunct care — alongside herbs, bodywork, rest, nutrition, and postpartum containment.
Clinical studies from China show that herbal fumigation used together with standard treatments improved outcomes for conditions like vaginitis, yeast overgrowth, and pelvic inflammation — including faster symptom relief and lower recurrence rates compared to medication alone.
Postpartum, these practices were traditionally used to support circulation, warmth, tissue recovery, and lochia release — not to “clean” the va**na, but to help the body return to balance.
Steaming doesn’t replacing medicine.
It’s about supporting the body’s healing environment.
When used intentionally, gently, and as part of a larger care system — that’s where its value has always lived.
