Looking for several part time positions for first and second shift.
The in-home aide/personal care aide provides basic services that include monitoring patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise. Supports clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands, checking vital signs like temperature, and pulse and respiration rates when needed.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help clients get dressed and undressed and maintain proper clothing
Provide and assist with personal services such as bathing and grooming
Accompany clients to their doctor visits
Remind/Assist clients of prescribed medications
Assist clients who are unable to handle the day-to-day homemaking duties in their homes
Follow a specified care plan for the client and report/document task to RN supervisor
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of experience
CNA Certification preferred but not required
Must have high school diploma
CPR Certified
Must agree to a criminal background check
Job Factors
Physical Requirements: Requires considerable physical effort most of the day.
Requires squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and sitting for long periods of time.
Mental Requirements: Work involves a broad range of problems, many of a complex nature. Must be able to work independently, make sound judgments based on assessment and data available and act accordingly. Must be flexible, innovative, and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple functions and/or tasks.
Transportation
Must have a valid North Carolina Driver’s license and appropriate automobile liability insurance.
Must have dependable transportation and ability to travel on the job.
