Inner Starr Compass Healing

Inner Starr Compass Healing I am passionate about helping others heal. Transformation, Spiritual life coach https:bit.ly/3SQOjxG The brain, not having much to do, surrenders to the body.

I was born in Jamaica, where I grew up around the use of natural remedies for ailments. Some of my best memories are those of going to the country and picking medicinal bushes for health. My parents moved my seven siblings and me to the United States when I was 13 years old. I spent my High School years in New Jersey before enrolling and graduating from the United States Naval Academy. Upon graduation, I served in the United States Navy for 20 years. If one thing I would like you to know about me is that I value wellness. I was first introduced to the mind’s power and perspective when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003. I wanted to have a second child before I had to undergo surgery to prevent me from having any future children. I discovered that mediation helped grounded, comfort, and provide hope to negative thought patterns. You see, we have emotions that cling to our bodies and creates a body of their own. Quite often, these emotional bodies (fear, illness, depression, anger, etc.) take over, and the body becomes the controller of our health. When I had cancer, I learned how my fear body wanted me to withdraw, detach from social support, cry, and stop searching for positive changes. Research shows that positive thinking is critical to the body’s immune system. Wellness starts with how you look at things, and when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change. It is my passion to help empower others to discover their self-healing energies. Her heart to give back to her community allows her to work with a diverse group of people. Her coaching experience range from transformational and spiritual life coaching.

Visiting with my friends horse, Cody. They have such a personality. He did not like his nickname.

Makes me think, do we often try to force names onto people. Observe what he did.
First, he shook. To release the negative energy I was putting in his space.
Second, he took a long slow breath and look3d at me and did not answer me.
Third, when I became louder he walked Way from the situation.

We can all learn some deesculation techniques from Cody.

Loving the lessons that showed up today from just playing with Cody.

Taking some time out to be in nature and doing some self care today. My mind, body, and spirit hurts for my son as he is suffering from a spiritual attack and I am trying to hold space for him from afar. Please, keep him in your prayers.

One of Arties duties is to help me with balance restoration. I replaced both knees and hips four years ago. The knees are still stiff and requires constant work. The hips too!!

In 2026, I choose restoration over depletion.
I honor my nervous system, my energy, and my body’s wisdom.
I notice where my cup has been leaking, and I lovingly reclaim myself without guilt or apology.
I release the belief that my worth is measured by how much I give or how much I endure.
I allow caregiving to include me, my rest, my joy, my play, my pleasure.
I create boundaries that are not walls, but containers for my healing.
I choose happiness, fun, and passion as essential medicine.
I listen when my body asks me to pause, soften, or say no.
In 2026, I give from overflow, not obligation.
My joy is safe. My needs are valid. My restoration is sacred

When we look to others as the source of our happiness, we give away our inner authority.

Every feeling, every moment of clarity or recognition, arises from within,
your nervous system, your lived experience, your inner wisdom responding to itself.

Healing begins when you slow down enough to listen inward.
When you honor your truth, your body and mind move back into alignment.

Be safe . Blessings to you all.

If you believe you can’t go on, pause and listen. That moment is your sign to keep showing up for yourself. Do you believe in signs?

Losing a loved one during the holidays is especially hard. The world asks us to be outward, joyful, and bright, but grief calls us inward.

There’s something sacred about winter. The trees release their leaves. The earth grows quiet. Everything returns inward to rest.

I’ve noticed that many souls seem to leave during this season, as if they are aligning with nature’s deepest wisdom,
completion, stillness, and return.

This holiday looks different for me. I’m honoring grief, memory, and love.
I’m allowing myself to slow down, reflect, and sit with what was instead of rushing into what should be.

If you’re grieving this season, know that going inward is not weakness,
it’s part of the cycle.
Love doesn’t disappear.
It changes form.
