I am fortunate to have painted at Lake Lure on the last weekend that it was pristine. Such an amazingly beautiful place before the destruction of Helene. I was also fortunate to paint with the talented Robert J. Simone of Robert J. Simone Fine Art. We had no idea we were witnessing the end of an era. Shout out to Al and Dawn Thompson for their hospitality. I hope your beautiful home and dock are intact.

Hello my Raleigh paint-loving friends,

My good friend Robert J. Simone just won the Grand Prize at Plein Air Easton 2024 for his painting The Shipwright's Apprentice! This is the 20th Anniversary of what has turned out to be the top Plein Air Painting Competition in the world!

I lead a zoom class through Mastrius for Robert that has a few remaining spots for those who might be interested. Not only is Robert a masterful plein air painter, he is an insightful and patient instructor.

The course is offered through Mastrius.com. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 PM EST via zoom. The larger building is the Moses cone servant house in the NC mountains. The small boat house is in the beautiful piedmont of NC. Next up is a return to the lovely beaches of NC. North cackalacky is full of natural beauty and I count my blessings to be able to live here and paint here. Cheers!

We love this amazing technology to replace knee cartilage. We will soon see this type thing applied to shoulders and possibly spines. Good stuff. It's also a good idea to prevent the need for this type of heroic medicine by avoiding inflammatory foods and chemicals. It also makes sense to keep your spine healthy by getting adjusted. Give Midtown a call to keep as healthy and functional as possible.

Chiropractic works...for any animal that has a spine. Won't do much for a jellyfish. So give us a call at Midtown...919-873-2225. But only if you have a spine that you want to keep healthy and pain-free. Any jellyfish can just float on by.
