Of course, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, processed food- affect my thyroid for SURE! I stay strict with these, bc I feel sooo much better without!
BUT 1️⃣ of the biggest pieces…

Find balance, pick a few, and grow from there! It’s a fun journey. Remember, perfectionism is toxic too! Don’t live in fear, or the nervous system can’t help us as well😉.

➡️ Winning TIPS for ‘my thyroid’

👏🏻Why play $$$ for expensive lulu clothes/etc with all those forever chemicals, find them used and washed many times on Facebook marketplace for a fraction of the price, and WAY less chemical load! It’s not 💯 free, but it’s definitely better!
👏🏻Plastic wear/ cooking/storage/etc —switch to stainless or cast iron, glass. Ditch the non- stick please. Real water bottles or glass.
👏🏻 Water-filter please. Maybe you don’t have a whole house reverse osmosis or whatever, just do the best you can!
👏🏻 Metals, canned food items, even metals in makeup. I had my dental fillings removed years ago.
👏🏻pesticides, herbicides, fungicides
👏🏻phthalates, parabens
👏🏻Personal care products - you don’t need all those crazy chemicals! Castile soap is my fav! Make lots out of it! Soft soap makes me sick as a dog! Perfume makes me sicker! Get rid of fragrance, and go for real essential oils. I haven’t used fluoride in years.
Add candles and air fresheners to the list!
👏🏻Cleaning supplies- my winning cleaner- oil of oregano! Vinegar, more essential oils.
👏🏻Molds- this is a hard one, but remember do your best, and let the rest go! We used a blue light for years on our HVAC.

❤️Remember, we can’t get rid of all these things 100% would be so hard, and unrealistic- unless you go live off the land somewhere, cool!
❤️Life is about learning balance and moderation in the world we live in. Mindset plays a HUGE win.
SO-reduce our exposure. Even a little bit helps.

👊🏻 supporting our liver and gut health, so they function best for us, and do the job they’re meant to do!
👊🏻Sleep, which really should be first!
👊🏻 nervous system regulation

I love this stretch after a great quads and glutes workout! You don’t even have to take it to the floor!

So important to stretch and recover after your workouts!
Aim to do a couple repetitions, holding for 30 seconds, or maybe about three breaths.

Sugar part #2- ditching the white sugar took me a HOT ‘while’. I used to be the one, who felt like you didn’t have to get rid of it, and I could figure out a way to still have it and enjoy it. I have to enjoy life.
I don’t think it’s the cards for me honestly, and now that I found a better way I ACTUALLY don’t look back.
It’s amazing, how going through a hard experience teaches you better😉.
Now let’s be real here -it’s super hard to keep it 100% out, occasionally if I’m traveling, or if we’re in a quick pinch, I will grab something that has cane sugar in it. BUT that is very very rare.
This has been one of the key changes, which has given me my health back, helped me maintain my hormones, helped me maintain my weight, autoimmune, and other things!

REMEMBERING , it takes prep! I have enjoyed educating myself, and having understanding!
And I don’t get mad at myself, if I accidentally have a little bit of sugar here and there, because taking out the sugar has given me better gut health-which aids in the resiliency with the accidentals/unavoidable times.
