I promise if you focus on the pillars of health, you will see a difference! It does help, but it does take TIME and effort! Isn’t that what life should be about? Learning.

Here’s how I stay to try and intentional and teach, and what I love to focus on…

👉🏻SLEEP —You must get 7 to 8 hours! I can attest that when I do this, it does really work! It’s still a goal of mine as well.

👉🏻 NUTRITION - anti-inflammatory is at the top for almost everybody! But find your own balance based upon your body and your needs! But I don’t think you can go wrong with anti-inflammatory. Try to limit processed food, and sugar! Yep! A big Yep!

👉🏻 MOVEMENT— we have to move, it is essential!
Focus on range of movement 1st, then start working on your balance and core, start to add resistance! Keep some cardio in there! Walking every day would be amazing. But nobody said you have to run 1000 miles…. Unless you love it! just like there’s no perfect diet, the same applies for movement— you need to find out what works for you! But strength is definitely a key part.

👉🏻CONNECTION— this is what life is all about!! stay intentional. And it’s not just about us. Who are you serving, and loving on? When we all realize, that everyone struggles, and that each one of our struggles are real to us, then we can actually start to connect more. Stop comparing, stop thinking we have the worst case scenario, see each other and love!

Things I would ADD—
❤️ emotional regulation/regulation for our nervous system. Because we all have to slow down a little! Take time do not have anything in your ear and just listen to what works best for you!
❤️ learning how to live for our hormones- to empower us!

This year, I’ve been trying to find a way to make my Christmas season meaningful, memorable, and make it about Christ and giving more.
I am very much a Christian and believer in Christ, but this can be a movement for any of us! Life is about giving and taking care of others- connecting in beautiful ways!

My girls and I created this little Christmas Advent Kindness/service/love challenge! We would love to share in hopes that we all ‘BE A LIGHT’ this season!

We tried to make it doable and accessible and something you can really DO! Each of us are sooo busy, but not to busy for SIMPLE acts of service!

Are you huge into Black Friday? How do you make it intentional? I haven’t really shopped Black Friday and years, occasionally I’ll find something on Amazon that I think is needed. But as I’ve gotten older, I haven’t really had a desire. And I do find that most of our needs are not really sales. Occasionally…
So it’s allowed me to just let go.❤️
I think in our age, we are spenders, never feeling like we have enough, I mean, I think each of us have been prone to this, me included at times.
Practicing gratitude has really taught me a lot of contentment .

Gluten free rolls (by Aubrey Anderson)

makes like 12 large rolls, or more depending on size!

7 tsp yeast
2 tsp honey
1 1/2 cups hot water to touch
—blend these in a big mixing bowl, and let rest for 5 mins to grow.

Add in:
(Combination of flours for best results)
6 cups total of- (I’ve made these with just almond meal too, just have a diff texture and heavier.)

2 cups brown rice flour
2 cups tapioca starch
2 cups almond meal flour

Now add in:
4 tsp xantham gum/guar
3 tsp baking powder (I use aluminum and corn free)
1 1/2 tsp salt
6 Tablespoons honey
3 eggs (room temperature)
9 tablespoons avocado oil

Mix all together now in a mixer.

When you get it all mixed well- it’ll be wet to touch, but when you dust your hands with tapioca starch/flour you should be able to roll them.

After formed -
Let them rise til double in size, in a warmish area (top of warm stove or sunshine) and then bake 350 for about 10-15 mins. Just watch. They’ll be toasted on top well and cooked through.
Rub butter on top if you like dairy 😉

You could also make this into loaves of bread. I use silicone bread making pans. No sticking!

Warriors are so strong for our legs! And depending on what you do with your arms, can bring a strength as well! Putting this with your breath is magical! Not only does it provide some beautiful dynamic movement for our body, it brings flexibility, core strength, and balance.

It opens up our mindset, we are strong, but also given so much—so to stay humble! Bow down and give thanks!
👍🏻you could put this flow in any sequence! I’m so grateful for Yoga that allows us to feel amazing!

I am so grateful for the poses that give us relief!! I am also so grateful for the many variations!

How was your tension after you tried to either of these poses? Were they hard, often times that means we need them more! Imagine including these several times a day. These could be done anywhere. ❤️👏🏻

Do you love Down Dog??!! Me🖐️

Such a great pose, targets the back body, spine, arms and core! You can make this a wonderful full body experience!! Shake that head out, find some spinal waves, and just chill!

One of the worst things, to happen to me in the yoga world- my first ever teacher told me I had to have my heels touch the ground! 👎🏻 NOPE
Bend those knees and enjoy! Peddle out those feet, take some spinal waves. Love it!

Take it to a chair or the couch or wall. 5 deep inhales and exhales. Try exhaling as you peddle those heels!

I love child’s pose?! I am super grateful for it! One of my favorite things to do is hold a hose and breathe and remind myself that I can be calm, and have peace! It’s there for me, if I choose it!
