If you look at people that live in the blue zones, or even just people that age well, one of the things they do is sit close to the floor, a LOT! Mobility as well as slowing down!
I think we all know and I’ve heard enough that we don’t slow down enough in this day and age, and I’m not talking about sitting and watching a TV show, I’m talking about slowing your mind down and just giving it peace and rest. Slowing down the stimulation.
Let’s keep it simple -Finding a seated post and learning to breathe has been amazing for me—
it has taught me awareness for my body.
It has improved my ADHD
it has made me mad at mom.
It is improved my spiritual side, and given me greater connection.
It is improved my pelvic floor.
It is improved digestion.
It has helped my lower back .
I could go on …. But I have to give it mostly to the breath. What a gift, to just slow down and be present with who I am.
