If you look at people that live in the blue zones, or even just people that age well, one of the things they do is sit close to the floor, a LOT! Mobility as well as slowing down!

I think we all know and I’ve heard enough that we don’t slow down enough in this day and age, and I’m not talking about sitting and watching a TV show, I’m talking about slowing your mind down and just giving it peace and rest. Slowing down the stimulation.

Let’s keep it simple -Finding a seated post and learning to breathe has been amazing for me—

it has taught me awareness for my body.
It has improved my ADHD
it has made me mad at mom.
It is improved my spiritual side, and given me greater connection.
It is improved my pelvic floor.
It is improved digestion.
It has helped my lower back .
I could go on …. But I have to give it mostly to the breath. What a gift, to just slow down and be present with who I am.

Happy 🎃 Halloween

Make a game out of it, laugh and laugh more about it, do it as a family, or when kids are upset, and you need to refocus their minds on something fun—-while breathing! Go through each of the emotions!

My weekend recipe share! 😋

Easy CHICKEN SALAD
Simple, fast, tasty, and very healthy!

Ingredients-
-costco salad bags (toss the dressing), any other bed of greens is good too. Think leafy green-like romaine, arugula, and spinach.
-grilled chicken (I use a George Foreman, or my own grill)
-chopped up celery and carrots in addition
-mix 1-2 tablespoons avocado mayo and dairy free cream cheese
-throw in some fresh basil or spice
-mix is all up and add to lettuce. I love to blend in my lettuce as well, so everything is creamy!
-serve it with some great cassava root chips (I love siesta) and guac 🥑

I love this recipe so much! I never get sick of it, it’s easy to make up, and is cheap and effective!

BLT salad bowls! 🥗

These are sooo yummy, so easy, and so healthy! Keeping things doable, efficient, and nutritious here! I keep things simple here! This makes it doable!

🥗Grilled/ baked chicken/ instant pot chicken. We’ve done it all ways. Grilled is my preferred, but the instant pot is sooo easy. (Place lb or so of frozen or fresh chicken in the instant pot and then add a 1/2 cup water to bottom. I set mine for manual mode 20 mins frozen, and 10 or so fresh. If it’s a lot of chicken, I just adjust time.) 🍗
🥗I love to air fry the bacon. I alexa’d that last time haha. We also just cook it up in oven at times too for ease sake. 400 degrees for 15-20 mins. 425 if you like it extra crispy. Keep a watch!🥓
🥗Throw the bacon and chicken cut up over your choice of salad bed. I love the Costco bags!
🥗Slice up your choice tomatoes 🍅
🥗Additional dressing—guacamole, avocado mayo, cheese (opt), and any other yumminess! 🥑

You get so much protein in this meal! About 20 to 25 g per piece of chicken, maybe 6 grams per 2 pieces of bacon.
Think about all the fiber from your veggies, including avocado.
You get lots of good sources of healthy fat! You could even drizzle a little olive oil if you wanted. This is why I love the avocado mayo as well.
Tons of phytochemicals for happy gut flora and more!!
