Wake Endoscopy Center Wake Endoscopy Center is a North Carolina State certified ambulatory surgery center that provides comprehensive outpatient and acute in-patient care.

We are an independent medical facility and medical practice. Our goal is to provide patients with diagnostic and therapeutic care while using the latest in procedures and treatment as they strive to enhance and maintain their quality of life. We utilize a team approach with professional staff that strives to provide compassionate, confidential, scientific-based, and cost-effective care to each individual in a welcoming environment. In keeping with our mission, the Wake Endoscopy Center was designed to be patient-friendly with the highest standards and procedure efficiency in mind. The facilities are all digital and feature state-of-the-art equipment, including a custom ultrasonic cleaning system (usually only found in larger hospitals). The center is fully staffed with physicians, medical assistants and support staff. The result for patients is quality care with less wait time, less paperwork, and less expense with Tier 1 recognition by BCBS and Cigna. These are a few of the reasons why many doctors refer their patients to Wake Endoscopy Center for testing and procedures. Wake Endoscopy Center is a North Carolina State certified ambulatory surgery center and is 1 of 15 endoscopy facilities in NC that are AAAHC approved.

We’re very pleased to introduce Dr. Ashish Shah as the newest member of our Wake Endoscopy providers! Dr. Shah was raised in New York where he attended Cornell University, and later Upstate Medical University in Syracuse for his medical degree. He and his family moved to the Triangle in 2020, but in prior years he served as co-director of a successful Gastroenterology practice in Delaware.
