I present to you… the B00B nap. The best place for a little snooze 🤣

B is deep in clusterfeeding right now. And the way I look at clusterfeeding is it’s our baby’s way of taking us to

This little man just couldn’t wait until December so we got to meet him over a month early!

It’s been another whirlwind birth but I can say with complete confidence that this birth has been such a healing one.

Welcome to the world, Baby B. Now let’s get you feeding well and get you out of the NICU!

Unless you count that extra hour that your kids were awake this morning 🤪 may your coffee be strong today!

Yup! I said it.

Because even though I know A LOT about feeding…

Every baby is different.
Every journey is different.

And guess what? I already told one of the LCs on my team that she will be my lactation consultant.

Even us expects need help! And that’s okay!! I remember with my second, T - I reached out to a group of lovely LCs on this app about a struggle I was having. They all said… you might need a consult! (Also so thankful for Amey at .breastfedbabies for saving the day on that one)

It’s okay to need help. It’s okay to not know it all. It’s okay to struggle. Frankly - we’ve all been there at some point! 💙

It seems simple right? If mama is happy ➡️ baby is happy & vice versa.

Instead of fed is best, I have been saying this because You, mama. YOU deserve to be happy. Regardless of the way you feed your baby. It is so much more than that!

Our babies feed off our energy. They thrive on our happiness and they sense when we’re stressed.

I have said this before and I’ll say it again...

It does not matter how you feed your baby. Breast, formula, pumping or a little mix of it all, what matters is that you feel supported. You should feel happy. You ultimately should be proud. You are a MAMA. And you deserve happiness above all else 💙 and maybe the occasional foot rub. Am I right? 😂

The Better B**b team is growing!!

Baby BOY Miller (yes, 3rd BOY) coming end of this year 💙

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Turns out running 2 businesses, keeping track of 2 boys and growing another human isn’t the easiest task!

I’m finally feeling better. I’m full swing in the second trimester, got over a kidney stone last week and baby is the size of a soda can (see what I did there?)

I’ve been DYING to tell you all but just wanted it to feel like the right time outside of all the chaos!

Can’t wait to share this next adventure (and try all the new breast pumps and baby items!)

STAY TUNED ✨

It wasn’t the plan I wanted - but also it was 💙

3.5 years later I’m still healing from my birth trauma but I saw this trend and I could of wrote everything that went wrong like that I went in for decreased fetal movement and my baby’s heart rate was in the 50s-60s that I was rushed back to an emergency c-section all while calling my husband to get care for our then 2.5 year old then to have baby taken to the NICU for respiratory distress and extremely low blood sugar.

But I think back to my birth plan - and the first thing it read was “Ultimately come in as 2 people and leave as 3”

How was your birth?

You know what they say… you can’t stop a determined mom. Especially when that mom is on her way to a lactation consultation!

This mom changed her tire. On the side in the highway. WITH her baby in the backseat and DIDN’T cry. AND she was only 15 minutes late to the appointment. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Shout out to this determined, SUPER MAMA 💙 💪🏼
