Did you know? SouthLight's court services team assists people with drug and alcohol offenses and helps them navigate the court system. We recently participated in the Wake Reentry Resource Exchange, a resource-sharing experience focused on adult reentry and juvenile justice resources in Wake County. It featured real conversations, practical support, and connections to local services. SouthLight's Edward Scott was a featured panelist, speaking on behalf of Wounded Healers of North Carolina, a nonprofit he cofounded.

April is Minority Health Month, a time to shine a light on health inequities—and the importance of access to care.

“Health disparities don’t happen by chance—they are shaped by access, opportunity, and the systems around us. When we expand access to mental health and substance use treatment, especially in underserved communities, we are not just treating individuals—we are strengthening families and entire communities.”
—Dr. Letitia Hazel, Chief Medical Officer

At SouthLight, we're committed to breaking down barriers and ensuring that care is accessible, compassionate, and equitable for all.
