HAPPY Dr. MLK Jr. Day.
Some days you realize you can’t change what’s happening out there. You can’t force people, timing, or outcomes. So you do the only thing you can do: come back to your body.
Inhale. Exhale. Again.
Because life moves like the ocean—the tide shifts, the wind changes. What feels stuck today won’t stay stuck forever.
New waves bring new chances. So if today is a “just breathe” day… breathe. And hold on. Something new will happen.

LAPLAND — 13°F. Sauna. Snow. Full moon. And ice-cold plunges into the Ounasjoki River.
The Ounasjoki lay still beneath the ice, marked by snowmobile tracks like a snowy avenue. And beside it, Roiske: fire tamed inside the sauna (around 90°C), breathing slowly behind the wood.
Sometimes we think we travel for the attractions. And yet, sometimes we find ourselves somewhere else entirely—in the true scale of Creation. The full moon above. The sky, immense. The northern lights. A silence so present it feels textured.
Then comes the moment of stepping into the ice hole cut into the river, once, twice… and a third time. And what surprised me wasn’t the extreme cold, but the sense of belonging—as if the river, the snow, and the ice all around weren’t a test, but a welcome. As if the body remembered it, too, is nature: water, fire, air, earth…
Because nature isn’t always something we “visit.” Sometimes we enter into communion with it.

Under the full moon, with the Arctic sky as a dome, it felt like a threshold—a reminder that we are not separate.

We are part of the same whole.

YEAR-END UNDER THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
Lapland, Finland.

Heart full. First time seeing the Northern Lights—and it reminded me of something essential: there’s beauty (and life) you don’t chase. It shows up when you slow down and simply witness.

2025 transformed many of us. A year of motion, change, and inner reordering.

May 2026 meet us with a new way of seeing—lighter on the inside, more open to the opportunities that arrive.

May 2026 be a blank canvas, yes… from the awareness that we co-create. With intention. With that kind of gaze that knows how to wait for what’s beautiful, recognize it when it appears, and give thanks.

Tonight—between snow, intense cold, and laughter with my kids—I wish you a very Happy 2026.

DESPIDIENDO EL AÑO BAJO LA AURORA BOREAL

Con el corazón lleno. Primera vez viendo la aurora boreal. Y me recordó algo esencial: hay belleza —y vida— que aparece cuando una baja el ritmo y contempla.

El 2025 nos transformó a muchos. Año de movimiento, cambios, reacomodos.
Que el 2026 nos encuentre con una mirada nueva: más livianos por dentro, más abiertos a las oportunidades cuando aparecen.

Que el 2026 sea un lienzo en blanco, sí… desde la conciencia de co-crear. Con intención. Con esa mirada que sabe esperar lo bello, reconocerlo cuando aparece y agradecerlo.

Hoy, entre nieve, frío intenso y risas con mis hijos, te deseo un Muy Feliz 2026!
