Our first Senior Disconnect of 2026 was a chance to unplug from the usual pace and reconnect through creativity and conversation. Moments like these remind us that caring for others starts with taking time to connect ourselves. 💜🎨🫟

It was an honor to care for Grayson and to support his family during such a meaningful time. We are grateful he was surrounded by love, comfort, and the Wolfpack spirit that meant so much to him. ❤️🕊️

Grayson Ketchie, a young Wolfpack superfan who developed a lasting friendship with Ms. Wuf from the age of 3, died this week at 14, after battling chronic pneumonia.

In honor of Black History Month, we recognize Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller, the first African American psychiatrist and a pioneer in Alzheimer’s disease research. Through his groundbreaking work, Fuller helped advance the understanding of Alzheimer’s and brought critical research to the United States.

Despite facing significant racial barriers, Fuller remained dedicated to education, research, and improving care for those living with neurological conditions. His contributions continue to influence the way we understand and support individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. 📖🧠

This Black History Month, we honor Dr. Fuller’s legacy and the lasting impact of his work on healthcare, equity, and compassionate care. ❤️🖤💚

We had the privilege of hosting a book reading and signing with Nnenna Freelon for Beneath the Skin of Sorrow. 📖💜✍️

Through story and song, she invited us into an honest conversation about grief, love, and healing — themes that resonate deeply with the work we do every day. She generously stayed to sign books, take photos, and connect with guests, and we were grateful for such a strong turnout.

An evening that reminded us how powerful it is to gather, reflect, and support one another. Thank you, Nnenna, for sharing your voice, your story, and your light with our community. ✨🕊️

Two daughters donated more than 100 stuffed animals in honor of their mother, who spent her final days at our Hospice Home. 💜 They collected these gifts at her Celebration of Life service and chose to share them with other families in her memory — a truly meaningful act of kindness that will bring comfort to so many. ✨🧸

During American Heart Month, we’re focusing on awareness, prevention, and the impact of heart health on our families and communities. It also shines a light on heart disease and the steps we can take to live healthier, longer lives — from regular checkups to everyday habits that help us care for ourselves and those we love. 💜🫶🫀
