What's in your first aid kit? Here's a list to start with

-Bandages of various sizes
-Antibiotic ointment like Polysporin. The pharmacy brand will do.
-Packets of black pepper to stop bleeding quickly. The drugstore version is either WoundSeal or QuickClot.
-Second skin to prevent blisters.
-A good pair of tweezers to remove splinters. Wart plasters will soft the skin after a few hours, which can help remove the splinter.
-Insect repellent- DEET is the gold standard but picaridin or oil of lemon eucalyptus will also work.
-Sunscreen - put it on 10 minutes before any insect repellent.
-Pain reliever
-Allergy medicine
-Dramamine if you have someone who might have motion sickness. Candied ginger will also work.
-Packets of yellow mustard and soy sauce will reduce the pain of burns.
-Yellow mustard - a spoonful of yellow mustard can stop muscle cramps quickly.
-Heartburn medication and maybe a pack of sugarless gum, which also works on constipation.
-Travel size bottle of Listerine if you can find one. Listerine may help with soothing rashes, fighting dandruff, eases the itch of mosquito bites.

Any container will do.

Can you get a covid booster and a flu shot at the same time?

Yes. The CDC has green lit receiving a dose of the coronavirus vaccine and other vaccines at the same time — a change from a previous recommendation to wait a minimum of 14 days between the different vaccinations.
