Hum, DMD has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Raleigh, North Carolina for over twenty years. Dr. Hum’s practice has a special focus on Dental Implant and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Third molar surgery. Dr. Hum is Board certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Hum’s staff is trained in assisting with out-patient anesthesia within our state-of-the-art office setting. Dr. Hum and his nursing staff are ACLS certified and our surgical assistants have both BLS training as well as Dental Anesthesia Assistant, (DAANCE), certification through the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Our office anesthesia program is inspected by both the North Carolina Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners. We utilize the most up to date vital sign monitors including end tidal CO2, pulse oximetry, EKG and non-invasive blood pressure.
