NCANA was the first state association to publish a bound newsletter called ANETIC — a name signifying ""soothing and relaxing"" and also standing for Anesthetists Need Exchange Their Ideas Constantly.
The format has remained largely the same since the 1950s.

It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Deb Flaherty. She was a dedicated CRNA, friend, association member, and colleague. She will be deeply missed by so many.
