EmpowerMe Wellness hosted another engaging and informative session as part two of their Stroke & Heart Attack prevention series! ❤️

The discussion was led by Nicole Spears, DPT, PT, who shared valuable insights on prevention and healthy living. Residents at The Willows were excited to learn simple, practical ways to reduce their risk, like staying active and making heart-healthy dietary choices.

🏀🏀🏀 March Madness excitement took over The Willows at Raleigh! Residents cheered for their favorite teams and enjoyed a spread of classic tailgate snacks (someone save me a chicken wing!) Games are on and spirits are high all tournament long! 🏀🏀🏀

We love supporting local business at The Willows at Raleigh!
A big thank you to our neighbor Madame B's Bakery, who has a storefront on Atlantic Ave, for treating us to an incredible pop-up of her cakes and brownies. These slices were so big it took this writer three days to finish - and each bite was deeeelicious! 😋 Supporting local never tasted so sweet! 🍰

💚 Happy St. Patricks Day from The Willows at Raleigh! ☘️

Today we learned how to "speak" Irish, watched a travelogue on Dublin, enjoyed a delicious corned beef dinner with Guinness and will cap it off with a step dancing performance by Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance! ☘️

RISE is a youth-lead music club founded by music loving students. Its purpose is to convey happiness with music 🎵 and give back to the community with love. This is their second visit to The Willows at Raleigh, and we are happy to announce they will be visiting us quarterly for the remainder of the year! It was great to hear classical and contemporary piano, Chinese instruments and a few mini violin virtuosos! Plus, this might be the first time we had a break-dancer on carpet! Well done RISE!
