Sometimes a serious fracture can result in having to wear a cast during recovery. One of the most important things to do is to keep it dry. Do not shower with your cast without a plastic bag or covering over it. If it happens to get a little wet, use a hair dryer to dry damp spots, but please give us a call if it gets soaked.
