"For individuals with ADHD, the lure of the Internet and social media are especially difficult to resist, thanks in large part to traits like impulsivity, hyperfocus, and time blindness. To avoid wasting time on your phone and/or computer, move with intention – not as a passive observer.”

The Falls Neuropsychology office will begin a phased reopening on 5/18/20. During this first phase, we will be conducting testing sessions only. This phase will continue until conditions indicate that further opening is appropriate. Psychotherapy, evaluation intake, and evaluation feedback sessions will continue to be conducted via telehealth. We have developed protocols to minimize any risk of infection to our patients, their families, and our staff. These protocols involve the use of personal protective equipment, reduced seating in our lobby, restrictions on the number of people in the office at one time, and frequent cleaning of surfaces and testing equipment. Neuropsychological testing equipment will be sanitized between uses.

If you are a relative or other visitor who will accompany a patient to their evaluation session, we will require that you print and complete the health attestation form linked on our website before entering the office.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - CORONAVIRUS

The Falls Neuropsychology office will remain CLOSED through April 30, at which time we will re-evaluate our ability to reopen safely. All neuropsychological evaluations scheduled during these weeks will be rescheduled but we will conduct intake interviews and therapy sessions via telehealth. Some rating forms, etc., may be completed online. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to the time we can safely open our office again.

Thank you and continue to stay healthy!

IMPORTANT UPDATE - CORONAVIRUS

The Falls Neuropsychology office will be CLOSED during the weeks of March 30 - April 3 and April 6 - April 10. All neuropsychological evaluations scheduled during these two weeks will be rescheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As we work with medically vulnerable and geriatric patient populations, however, temporarily closing the office best protects the health of the people we serve.

We will continue to provide psychotherapy services using video conferencing technology and/or telephone. We have learned that most insurances will cover telehealth sessions. Existing patients will receive emails with links to open at the time of their scheduled appointments. Please be on the lookout for those! If you do not receive the link, call the office at 919-870-0264 to arrange for a telephone session or to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We will respond to voicemail messages as quickly as possible. Thank you and stay healthy!

03/16/2020

Falls Neuropsychology will be open during the week of March 16-20. If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please do not come to the office for your appointment. We will be available for telehealth sessions for all services except for testing. Telehealth sessions may require preauthorization, so we advise that you inquire about that with your health insurer. Please call the office at 919-870-0264 to arrange for a phone session or to cancel/reschedule your appointment. We will be waiving late cancellation fees for at least this week. Thank you and stay healthy.
