Ever Wonder What Happens Inside Your Body When You Fast? 💡
Fasting isn't just about "not eating" – it triggers an incredible metabolic transformation! Our bodies are remarkably adaptable, and when food isn't constantly available, they switch gears to optimize energy use.

Here's a quick look at the journey:

1️⃣ The Early Shift (0-12 hours after eating): Glucose Burn ⛽
Your body first uses up its readily available fuel: glucose from your last meal.
Glycogen (stored glucose in your liver) is then broken down to keep your blood sugar stable. Think of it like draining the primary fuel tank!

2️⃣ The Metabolic Switch (12-24+ hours): Fat Burn & Ketosis! 🔥
Once glucose and glycogen stores are low, your body makes a crucial "metabolic switch."
It starts tapping into its largest energy reserve: stored fat!
