🌟 Sober November & National Gratitude Month 🌟

This November, we’re celebrating two things that go hand in hand — sobriety and gratitude.

At Emmaus House of Raleigh, we’re proud to walk alongside men in recovery as they build new lives rooted in hope, accountability, and gratitude. Sobriety isn’t just about giving something up — it’s about gaining so much more: peace, purpose, and connection.

As we honor Sober November, we also pause to express deep gratitude — for our residents’ courage, our staff’s dedication, and the community’s unwavering support that makes our mission possible.

💙 Thank you for believing in second chances. Together, we’re building a stronger, sober, and more grateful community — one day at a time.

🎃 October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month 🎃

At Emmaus House of Raleigh, we know that recovery is not a one-time event — it’s a lifelong journey that requires stability, support, and community. That’s why we’re committed to providing transitional housing and wraparound services for men recovering from substance use disorders right here in our community.

This month, as we raise awareness for substance abuse prevention, we also celebrate the courage and resilience of those working every day to build a new life.

🏠 Every bed we offer is more than a place to sleep — it’s a step toward independence, healing, and hope.

Here’s how you can help this October:

💛 September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month 💛

This month, we honor the lives of those we’ve lost to su***de, especially the countless individuals battling substance use disorders who felt they had no way out. Their stories matter. Their lives mattered. And we carry their memories with us every day.

At Emmaus House of Raleigh, we provide transitional housing for men in recovery, because we know that healing requires more than just sobriety- it requires community, dignity, and hope.

Men struggling with addiction often face silent battles with depression, trauma, and hopelessness. Recovery is not just about staying clean- it’s about staying alive. 💔

If you're hurting, you're not alone.
If you're healing, keep going.
If you're grieving, we see you.

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s talk about mental health. Let’s show up for each other — in recovery, in crisis, and in remembrance.

🕯 August 31st is Overdose Awareness Day 🕯

Today, we pause to remember those we’ve lost to overdose, stand with those in recovery, and continue the fight to end the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.

At Emmaus House, we’re proud to be part of the solution — offering Wake County’s first transitional housing program exclusively for men engaged in Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT), a proven and life-saving path to recovery.

Through safe, structured, and supportive housing, Emmaus House helps men rebuild their lives, continue treatment, and re-enter the community with dignity, stability, and hope. 🌱

📢 Let’s raise awareness, honor lives lost, and uplift the organizations working every day to save others.
