PFAS, often called “forever chemicals,” are everywhere. From nonstick cookware to water-resistant fabrics, most of us are exposed to them daily without even realizing it.

Dr. Hilary Friedlander talks about the possible link between PFAS exposure and fertility, pregnancy outcomes, and even early childhood development, bringing awareness to something many of us have never been told to think about.

The encouraging part is that reducing exposure doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Small, realistic changes like being more mindful of the products you use or making simple swaps over time can truly add up.

Share with someone you know that needs to ditch their nonstick cookware.

What if you could take control of your fertility timeline—before you feel like you have to?

Last week, Dr. Hilary Friedlander and Dr. Jenna Hynes joined the Duke MBA Association of Women Duke AWIB in Business to talk about egg freezing and what most people aren’t told about fertility.

If you’re in your 20s or 30s, navigating career growth, relationships, and long-term planning, these conversations matter more than ever. Getting clear, early information can help you better understand your options and make choices that feel aligned with you.

Interested in bringing this conversation to your workplace or campus? We’d love to connect.

Not ready to start a family yet? You’re not alone.

Many people focus on building careers, education, or personal goals before thinking about children. Egg freezing can provide peace of mind and more flexibility for the future, but the first step is understanding your fertility health.

Knowing your options, timing, and how egg quality and quantity change over time can make all the difference in planning ahead and feeling confident about your choices.

But there’s a new opportunity to help reduce those costs significantly.
