I am a window seat girl. But put that shade down!

At 30,000 feet, UV exposure increases because the atmosphere is thinner. UVA rays (the aging rays) pe*****te airplane windows, especially if the shade is up.

Pilots actually have one of the highest rates of melanoma due to cumulative cockpit exposure to UV rays.

So yes…I wear sunscreen on planes.
Even if it’s cloudy.
Even if I’m indoors.

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for my family, friends, and patients who have trusted, supported, referred their friends which has helped my practice grow and thrive this year. Also, a special shout out to Motrin, Cefdinir, Tamiflu 🤢 and lots of candy 🍭 for getting us through the past few weeks 🤒🤧😷
