I want to acknowledge male therapists.

There seems to be what I believe is a misconception about male therapists being unable to hold space, provide compassion, validation and empathy for their clients in the in the same way female therapists can.

Male therapists have chosen this field BECAUSE they have these natural nurturing abilities.

MEET THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE CAMBRIO COUNSELING TEAM
Jordan Pylant, MSW, LCSW-A (THERAPIST)

Jordan Pylant works with people dealing with a variety of life challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, personality disorders, grief, and more. She uses an eclectic theoretical approach to meet the needs of each client pulling from several therapies and theories such as psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems theory.
Jordan works with adolescents ages 13-17, adults, couples, and families. She currently accepts Cigna and will be able to accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield in the near future. Her self-pay rate is $95 for a 55-minute individual session and $120 for couples and families.
