As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s not the work that I’m most thankful for—it’s the people. The patients who allow us into their lives, trust us with their stories, and who make direct primary care meaningful.

Direct healthcare is more than a model—it’s a partnership built on transparency, trust, and shared understanding. But with so many providers and paths to care, it’s especially important to know who’s guiding your health.

This year, I’m reflecting on gratitude—for the amazing training I have received, for the patients I serve, and for the privilege of practicing medicine in a way that honors both art and science.
