Summer will be here before we know it, and May and June tend to fill up quickly with camp and sports physicals. Scheduling your child’s annual well visit now can help you secure a time that works best for your family and avoid the seasonal rush.

Well visits are an important part of your child’s care. They give us time to monitor growth and development, keep immunizations up to date, and complete any required school, sports, or camp forms in one visit.

If your child is due for their annual checkup, give us a call at 919-896-7066, and our team will be happy to get you scheduled.

We're thrilled to have Dr. Jossan join our team! Her journey from California to Sweden (where she learned Swedish and earned her Swedish medical license at Karolinska Institute!) to the Triangle is as impressive as her dedication to caring for children and families.

When she's not seeing patients, Dr. Jossan enjoys playing violin, reading, and exploring new places with her two children. We're so excited for our families to get to know her!

Dr. Jossan is now accepting new patients. Call 919-896-7066 to schedule your appointment.

In May 2025, Dr. Michele McMillan began her well-earned retirement after more than two decades of caring for families and helping found HealthPark Pediatrics in 2019. Her impact on our practice and community continues to be felt.

We are deeply grateful for her leadership, dedication, and the many children and families she cared for over the years. She will always be a valued part of the HealthPark family.

Think of your child’s plate like a battery: it’s all about the right charge. A simple way to support your child’s growth and energy is to aim for balance at meals. Including a protein, a whole grain, a fruit or vegetable, and a healthy fat can help keep kids feeling full, focused, and fueled throughout the day. Small, consistent choices add up over time and help build healthy habits that last.
