We had an incredible time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our first-ever Pub Crawl- retirement living style! Our pub crawl was a fun social gathering where residents visited different rooms or lounges, each decorated like a different ‘pub’ or theme. We had snacks, festive drinks, music, pub games, and sipped on some Green Beer! The highlight of the occasion was the tattoo shop! (temporary, of course!) A great time was had by all!

🇺🇸 Event Recap 🇺🇸
We were honored to host a fascinating live lecture by Mike Peterson at Capital Oaks. Through a powerful first person portrayal of a common Civil War soldier, Henry James Estes, residents were transported back in time and given a moving glimpse into everyday life during the Civil War.
The presentation was engaging, educational, and truly memorable. Thank you to Mike Peterson for bringing history to life in such a meaningful way—we greatly appreciate the opportunity to share experiences like this with our residents.

The ladies of Capital Oaks enjoyed an elegant High Tea to celebrate the achievements, strengths, and stories of women throughout history. Everyone looked beautiful while they sipped on delicious tea and enjoyed delectable treats. It was truly an afternoon to remember!

We were delighted to welcome the Japan America Society of North Carolina to Capital Oaks for a workshop on Chigiri e, where participants learned the traditional Japanese art of creating images with hand torn paper. Our residents had a lovely time and created beautiful Art thanks to the support of our guests!
