Tic-Talk-Toe Speech and Language Therapy is now open and providing services across North Carolina.

The practice is owned and operated by Sania Hasan, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist serving children and families with speech and language therapy needs, including speech delays, articulation support, language development, stuttering, and social communication skills. Both in-office and telehealth sessions are available.

We accept several major insurance plans as well as private pay options.

Grocery stores are the perfect place to expand your child’s language skills. 🛒🍎🥦🗣️

Whether you’re buying an item or not, show and label new foods that your child may not have heard of before. This will help expand their vocabulary and increase their recognition of less familiar foods.

Describe how different foods taste! For example, you might pick a category like desserts and talk about how they’re sweet. Then, go through the aisles and discuss other sweet items!

Or, if you want to introduce a new color, choose one and try to find different items of that color throughout the store. If you already have a grocery list in mind, as you start adding things to the cart, talk about the size of each item, what it’s used for, and its color!

Why did the broccoli become a great speaker? Because it always knew how to stalkconfidently! 😂
