As cases of potentially deadly botulism in babies who drank ByHeart infant formula continue to grow, state officials say they are still finding the recalled product on some store shelves.

Safety first. Water activities are fun, healthy, and important. Keep your eyes on your kids, and stay in touch-contact with non- or novice swimmers.

Drowning happens quickly and quietly. Designate a responsible adult to watch children closely and constantly when they are in or near water. Avoid distracting activities like reading, using the phone, and consuming alcohol or drugs.

For families using Nutramigen formula since June 2023, there has been a precautionary recall for a few lot numbers. Check your lot numbers against the ones in the FDA article. There is no need to check lot numbers on cans that have already been consumed completely.
