Elation rhymes with Stagnation — and I love that - makes for a catchy title of a series...AND the words also are deliberately chosen.

Because while Stagnation contracts, elation expands. One freezes your flow. The other restores it.

Here’s the thing: the word ELATION — and the invitation to live it — can feel uncomfortable. I know this from experience, both personally and with many of my clients.

There’s often an “automatic program” running that says:

“Who do you think you are to enjoy your life so much when so much j***y stuff is going on in the world?”
“How can you feel joy when people you care about are struggling?”
“Maybe a joyful, flowing life is too much to ask for.”

We get the idea that joy is selfish, or that suffering makes us more “real” or “mature.”

And yes, there is suffering in the world — terrible circumstances that no one should endure. That’s undeniable.

But here’s the question: by denying yourself full enjoyment, lightness, and fun, how does that help anyone who is suffering?

The answer is: it doesn’t.

In fact, withholding joy, even unconsciously, keeps us collectively contracted. But when more of us cultivate open hearts, aliveness, and an openness to possibility — that energy radiates outward. That’s the contribution we can make.

Even if it feels a little “too much” to ask for, even if it feels uncomfortable, even if it feels undeserved — this is the gift of elation: it strengthens you, it opens your perspective, and it allows your compassion and presence to reach others more fully. And your life FLOWS.

Commiserating endlessly — which is very different from heartfelt compassion — rarely helps anyone in the long run. Choosing to be alive, embodied, and joyful while holding awareness of what is creates a more powerful ripple than we can see.

This is exactly what we’ll explore in From Stagnation to Elation, a 3-day guided meditation and activation series:

How to soften resistance without ignoring reality

How to feel joy, lightness, and aliveness in the body, even while holding life’s complexities

How to reconnect with your natural flow and empower your best expression

If this is speaking to you, but you can’t attend live, no worries — the recordings are just as potent as being with me in real time.

Is this resonating? — even a little? — consider it an invitation: to step into joy, to honor your life, and to allow yourself elation as a practice of personal and collective empowerment.

Today, I came across one of my copies of the Tao Te Ching (Stephen Mitchell’s translation), and randomly opened to this chapter. It could not have been a more perfect message to share with you -

“If you want to shrink something, you must first allow it to expand.
If you want to get rid of something, you must first allow it to flourish.
If you want to take something, you must first allow it to be given.
This is called the subtle perception of the way things are.

The soft overcomes the hard.
The slow overcomes the fast.
Let your workings remain a mystery.
Just show people the results.”

It’s so easy to focus on what we don’t want — to wrestle with what feels too big, too loud, too persistent in our thoughts or lives.

But in doing so, we often tighten our grip on the very thing we want to release.

Empowerment, true empowerment, begins when we stop fighting or begrudging and start allowing.
When we make peace with what is, we loosen resistance — and in that softening, transformation can begin.

We don't have to like the situation or resign ourselves to it.
Stop feeding the fight.
We recognize what’s true in this moment — without collapsing into it, and without defending against it.

Acceptance is NOT:

-Being passive about what is (though sometimes stillness or non-reaction is the wisest move).

-Becoming apathetic or detached from the world around you.

Acceptance is the doorway to peace — and from that peace, FLOW naturally follows.

Sometimes, though, we need a little support to access that humble acceptance — to quiet the mental loops, to soften the nervous system enough to feel possibility again.

That’s what inspired this three-day guided meditation and activation series: From Stagnation to Elation

Over three days, we’ll practice what the Tao calls “the subtle perception of the way things are" (- among other things to support your shift to more joy, contentment, and fun).
We’ll explore how to:
✨ Soften resistance and meet what is, without collapsing into it.
✨ Feel peace, not as an idea, but as a living vibration in your body.
✨ Reconnect with the natural current of life that moves through you — and let it carry you forward.

It’s been a magical summer and fall of healing, learning, and evolution. While not always simple or comfortable, it has been flowing and full of joy. This inward time, often spent in solitude, has brought me clarity about how I choose to move forward personally and in supporting my community.

I’ve been facilitating transformational healing since 2013, and I am truly honored to continue this work in deeper, more embodied ways.

It’s not just study, speaking, or practice that ushers in healing and evolution — it’s the *embodiment* of the work. First, we *imagine or visualize* it in us. Then, we begin to *feel* it present. Through practices like qi gong, guided healing meditations, and other techniques, that feeling shifts into *knowing* — a direct experience of the energy, until “the peace that passes all understanding” simply *becomes* who you are.

It’s a delightful vibration to live life with — a sense of ease, alignment, and flow that touches everything we do. For me, this has fueled an elevated experience of ELATION even while staying rooted and feeling my own emotions of being on Earth NOW.

Now, I’d like to extend an invitation: come practice with me. Together, we’ll embody these teachings, exploring the powerful, the esoteric, and the transformative. In this time, more than ever, the planet calls for us to uplevel our application of ancient guidance — for our own betterment, and for the betterment of all.

Why This Series
Stagnation can creep in quietly.
A sense of being “stuck.”
Low motivation. Spinning thoughts. Resistance to what is.

It’s not always a crisis — but it is a slow drain on your vitality.
Life starts to feel flat, uninspired… paused.

But this isn’t a permanent state — it’s simply energy waiting to move.

What You’ll Experience
In this 3-day live meditation and healing activation, we’ll gently reawaken and ACTIVATE your inner flow through guided meditation, energy work, and presence practices.

You’ll begin to:
🌿 Shift heaviness and stuckness into spaciousness and ease
🌿 Reconnect with your natural joy and rhythm
🌿 Awaken creativity and resilience
🌿 Remember what it feels like to feel alive and aligned

Why It Matters
When we linger in stagnation, we forget that joy and flow are not luxuries — they’re our birthright and our natural baseline.

This series is a gentle reset.
A reminder that your life is meant to be enjoyed — not endured or tolerated.
A reminder that the circumstances in the world that directly or indirectly affect us do not have to siphon our experience of ease, pleasure, and ELATION.

Let’s roll the energy forward together…
and return to flow, ease, and yes — elation. 🌞 No matter what is happening in the world around us.

[turn on sound]
We are being played with. We can choose not to play the game.

There’s so much upheaval and fear. I remind myself—and anyone open to hearing it—that we get to choose how we respond.

Choose a way that doesn’t cost you.
If you’re staying engaged with current events, notice how you’re engaging—

We can be engaged and enraged.
Engaged with outrage.
Engaged with fear.
Or—engaged with curiosity, compassion, and real information.

And algorithms? They’re designed to pull us in, keep us emotional, and mirror what we already believe.

“Where attention goes, energy flows.”

No matter where you sit politically—you are being played with.

So choose not to play that game.

Instead, choose what you focus on.

Choose how you respond.

Choose when to step away, breathe, and ground yourself in what’s real.

Choose compassion, clarity, and discernment.

You can feel anger or fear and still not lose your inner peace.

That’s a practice—and it’s power.
—We don’t have to be reactive or numb.

We can be wise with our hearts, firm with our boundaries, and soft with our humanity.

This is feminine power in action—compassion, presence you can feel in your body, boundaries rooted in love.
—And these aren’t just for women. They’re human principles for harmony.

We are not meant to be hijacked.

We are not meant to be divided by chaos and fear.

Hidden existence
Seen wonderfully unique
Not invisible.

I almost missed this delightful creature one morning this week. And I did, indeed, think he was a leaf caught in an unseen web.

I wondered why he wasn’t in the woods or in the bushes at least.

“How will you step out of your comfort zone into the light? Out from behind your camouflage and just blending in?”

That’s what I felt he was there to tell me.

Unexpected, exposed, safe, and magnificent.

Ta da!

😘

Go show your magnificent self to the world, Beauties!

Red dragonflies show
Messengers by the river—
Give profound guidance.

One of my favorite parts of nearly every day is walking in nature. Even when I follow the same path, I always encounter something new. This week was especially magical.

Back at the Neuse River Trail, I felt attuned to the natural world—and it felt attuned to me. For the first time, I saw red dragonflies skimming the water and resting on the rocks, as if beckoning me onward. And so I followed.

One day they led me to the remains of a giant snapping turtle, another day to a single red admiral butterfly. On another walk, I heard their whisper to look for deer—and there they were: a mother and her fawn, just outgrowing her spots.

These encounters left me with deep gratitude and clarity. They also marked a shift: I’m emerging from a season of disinterest in writing, sharing, and offering. For a while, I felt jaded with social media and the pull of online life. I’ve been allowing and accepting that.

I’ve also been discerning how much division is fueled not only by politics but by the very algorithms that shape what we see. It’s unsettling. And yet, to me, it feels like a message for all of us:
-seek out more than one source,
-resist fanning the flames,
-stay curious about why others think the way they do,
-and remember how to think and discern for yourself.
This is true across the whole spectrum of culture and politics. And while it may feel hard in those charged spaces, we can begin to practice Compassionate Discernment in simpler, less triggering places in our lives.

From Taoist wisdom to the heart of Christ’s original teachings, the guidance is the same: compassion without judgment leads to harmony. Again and again, I’ve seen how judgment—left unexamined—makes people miserable, even sick. Heck, it made me sick and miserable decades ago.

And so I return to the river, to the dragonflies, the deer, the butterfly. Nature reminds me that presence is the beginning of discernment. Observing without judgment is a practice. It opens space for gratitude, clarity, and the possibility of harmony.

May we all find that kind of guidance, wherever we walk.
