🖤 Meet Kizzy 🖤

Kizzy is a beautiful 4 year old black molly mule with the kind of foundation and future that’s hard to find. Raised by Peterson’s Quality Mules, Kizzy comes from proven genetics and thoughtful horsemanship. She is sired by Scooters Rawhide, a jack known for producing excellent conformation and outstanding dispositions.

Kizzy has already logged impressive miles for her age. She’s been trail ridden extensively, ridden in town with traffic, pushed cattle, completed obstacle courses, and handled a variety of environments with confidence. She’s easy to catch and halter, loads quietly into the trailer, is good to shoe, and stays sensible even with time off. On the trail, she’s sure-footed and smooth, making her enjoyable to ride day after day.

☀️ Meet Hazel ☀️

Hazel is a 6 year old, 15 hand dun Appaloosa molly mule with a great mind and an easy going nature. She’s a pleasure to be around and a comfortable, enjoyable ride that suits a wide range of riders.

She’s been exposed to a variety of settings and jobs, including EXCA competition and youth rodeos, and continues to build a solid, well rounded foundation. Hazel is finished on the trail and has been started in ranch work, barrels, mounted shooting, and kid riding, with prospects in roping the heel side, reining, rope calves, and cutting. She’s also finished as a parade mule and handles new environments with confidence.

Hazel moves well, and is easy on the eyes the kind you enjoy swinging a leg over whether you’re out on the trail or working toward your next goal. A versatile young mule with plenty of direction in her.

🖤 Meet High Brow Hennessy 🖤

High Brow Hennessy is a jet-black molly mule with a kind eye, steady mind, and the sort of work ethic you can count on day after day. She’s a true using mule with three smooth, consistent gaits, set the pace and she’ll hold it, whether you’re covering ground or easing along.

Hennessy has spent her time doing real jobs. She’s been ridden through stockyards and ranch country and trusted in the rugged Montana backcountry, confidently handling steep, rocky terrain. Point her at it and she’ll get you there. She rides just as well in a group as she does on her own and crosses water, traffic, dogs, ATVs, and heavy equipment without fuss.

✨ Meet Samule (Sam) ✨

Samule, or “Sam,” is a striking 7 year old palomino john mule standing 15.1 hands and weighing around 1050 lbs. This confident, good-looking mule walks out like he owns the place and turns heads wherever he goes.

With his go getter attitude and smooth way of moving, Sam is well suited for trail riding, shows, or just cruising around and enjoying the ride.

Sam is a proven ranch and trail mule, finished on the ranch and seasoned on the trail. He’s also finished as a parade mule and has been started in roping the heel side, reining, and mounted shooting, giving him a well rounded foundation with room to go in multiple directions. He’s the kind that shows up ready to work, stays confident in new environments, and takes care of his rider.

🏔️ Meet Merle | Mountain Mule Deluxe 🏔️

If you’re looking for a good looking, strong, sane, and seasoned trail mule, Merle checks every box.
Merle is a 10 year old, 15.2 hand, 1200 lb john mule who has spent the last four years as a key member of our outfit and our main riding mule.

From sheep hunts in September, to elk hunts in October, to lion hunting all winter, he’s seen big country and tougher days than most. He’s never missed a beat and has always been clutch when it mattered.

Merle takes care of himself and his rider. He’ll happily spend the day with a picket mare but is just as comfortable heading out alone. He fits anywhere in the string or can confidently lead it. He packs meat and horns, crosses ice, bogs, logs, and rocks without hesitation, and is good with dogs.

He’ll even load into the back of a truck, no trailer needed. While he’s been to town and handled it well, the mountains are where he’s made his living.
Easy to saddle, bridle, shoe, and haul. He rides with a crupper or britchen and holds a saddle better than most horses.

🐞 Meet June Bug 🐞

June Bug is a 6 year old, 13.1-hand sorrel Haflinger molly mule with a big heart and an even bigger try.

She’s handy, willing, and the kind that wants to please every time you swing a leg over. She’s been solid on the trails, confidently crossing logs, deadfall, bridges, and creeks. June Bug has been around cattle in the pasture and has started roping calves. She’s also been used in kids’ riding and training classes, making her a great option for a variety of riders.

June Bug has seen the show pen too, competed in pleasure classes and fun day events like barrels, poles, and keyhole. On the ground, she’s easy to be around, clips, bridles, grooms, and saddles without fuss. You can mount her from the ground or a block, whatever you prefer.

Under saddle, she shines, an excellent one hand neck rein, a great stop, and a true point and go mule. While she may be shorter in stature, she’s built to carry a load and has even been packed with refreshments on the trail.

If you’re looking for a mule this size with this much ability, June Bug is one you don’t want to miss.
